Recognition of mediation training & accreditation for membership

In addition to the CIArb’s mediation training and accreditation as provided by Mediation & Training Alternatives (MATA) , the CIArb currently recognises the programmes offered by the following Approved Providers (AP):

ADR Group (ADRg)
Accord Group
Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR)
Core Mediation
Global Mediation Services (GMS)

CIArb Associate membership is available to individuals who have completed the training offered by an AP. Successful completion of an accreditation programme offered by an AP will provide eligibility to apply for CIArb Membership .

Applicants who have undertaken training with a provider not listed above should contact the Executive for details of eligibility.

The CIArb reviews its list of APs regularly. Training organisations, not already on the list, who wish to provide students with additional benefits by becoming an AP should contact: Sue McLaughlin .
