CIArb delegation to promote arbitration in China.

Building on the international advances already made in 2003, The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators has sent a delegation of leading international arbitrators to Beijing, led by Neil Kaplan CBE, QC

The delegation's objective, working in partnership with China's International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), is to equip already experienced arbitrators with the necessary skills to efficiently manage disputes that may arise as a result of increasing levels of international trade.

The Institute's training is internationally recognised at the "gold standard" for practitioners. An indication of this recognition can be gleaned from the welcome sponsorship given to the delegation for this important event, in particular, by the international law firm Clayton Utz in Sydney and the British Council in Beijing.
