How to pay

There are a variety of ways in which existing and new members may remit payment for the membership dues.

Please select your preferred method of payment:

· Cash
· Cheque
· Credit card
· Direct debit
· Bank transfer

 

Cash

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY CASH TO THE INSTITUTE BY POST!

If you wish to make payment in cash, you are invited to do so in person, just call in to the Secretariat in London and ask for a member of the Membership Team.

We would be delighted to meet you, you will be given a cash receipt and this may be a great opportunity to meet some of the other staff members and have a look around the Institute's Information and Resource Centre.

 

Those wishing to become a member are also invited to submit their completed application with their payment to the Secretariat in person.

Cheques

Please make all cheques payable to The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Please would existing members write their membership number on the reverse of the cheque.

Credit Cards

The Institute is happy to accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and Switch.

Please note that a surcharge of 1.5% should be added to payments made by Visa or MasterCard to cover charges made by the credit card companies.

Existing members may complete and return by post, fax or email the credit card authorisation on the front of their subscriptions renewal notices. Alternatively, if more convenient, credit card payments can be taken directly over the telephone. Payments should be sent to:

If you do not have a credit card authorisation form please (click here) to download a copy.

Those wishing to apply for membership should complete the credit card authorisation on their application form.

 

Direct Debits

Existing members with UK bank accounts who wish for the convenience of paying by direct debit may complete a mandate. Payments will thereafter be taken at the start of each year.

A direct debit mandate can be downloaded by clicking here.

New members will be sent a mandate application with confirmation of their entry into membership. Members may post their completed direct debit mandates to:

Existing and new members wishing to make payment by bank transfer may do so. Membership dues should be transferred to:
