Introducing CIArb PATHWAYSThe global standard for professional education in dispute resolution
What is CIArb Pathways?
The CIArb professional Pathways programme is a word-class framework of knowledge and skills needed in order to be proficient in the field of non-court dispute resolution. It covers the main disciplines (‘pathways’) of arbitration, adjudication, mediation, and now international arbitration.
The programme provides the ideal platform to underpin and support the development of professional experience in these disciplines. Whilst also offering a tiered range of professional membership qualifications to provide public recognition for your level of expertise.
You can achieve CIArb’s qualifications by completing the Institute’s own programme of courses, or alternatively, choose from an approved range of equivalent courses provided by accredited educational institutions around the world.
CIArb Pathways provides a progressive educational ‘ladder’, starting from the level of a new-comer to the field right through to advanced levels of knowledge and skill. You can advance through the defined levels as you wish, depending on your career aims.
At the same time, the programme allows you choose to specialise in an area of dispute resolution to match your individual professional needs. You can also choose to study any other Module(s) from any discipline pathway in the programme, so widening your overall knowledge and skill-set.
The detailed content of courses and workshops making up the Pathways programme are adapted in many areas to suit the specific legal characteristics and procedures of the local jurisdiction. CIArb’s global network of Branches play a key role in this regard, as well as providing local tutoring and assessments.
Why should you choose CIArb Pathways ?
By choosing the CIArb Pathways programme, you will gain the expert know-how – and recognition – you need from the world’s leading professional body for dispute resolution. |
