Southern Branch held a number of events in 2008 including:

- March - Adjudication Surgery
- April - Rights of Third Parties
- October - Proof of Delay Claims
- November - Concurrent Delays
- November - Arbitrator's Surgery
One of the major achievements of the branch this year was the introduction of a mediation surgery.
