Keith is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM - Construction & Arbitration Law) and a Masters degree in Business (MBA). He has practised in the Construction & Engineering industries for over 33 years and has specialized in the resolution of contractual disputes in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation & Construction sectors for the past 20 years.

He is co-founder and Managing Director of Saltire Projects Ltd (SPL), an Aberdeen, UK-based Contracts Consultancy Co. which provides its blue chip, international client-base with legal and contractual advice and claims and disputes management services.

A graduate of The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an Accredited Civil & Commercial Law Mediator and a Corporate Panel Member of the Dispute Board Federation.

Simpson has had involvement in the Aberdeen and North East Scotland property market since 1980 and at partner level since 1987, including as director of a property development subsidiary of a national plc.

He is a member of the RICS Dispute Resolution Panel and an experienced rent review arbitrator.

Allan is a consulting subsea engineer in the offshore oil industry. He is a specialist in operations support for pipelines and other sub-sea assets. His experience has included sub-sea construction, IRM, explosives technology, decommissioning and project management.

A graduate of Aberdeen University, Allan is a Chartered Engineer (and registered European Engineer) and acts as an engineering mentor. He has acted as an adviser and expert witness in disputes involving process equipment, harbours, and construction. This experience has included forensic planning and delay analysis.

David is a lecturer in law at Robert Gordon University where his focus is on construction law and dispute resolution - with interests in broader commercial law and professional ethics.

Before joining the University, David spent a number of years in private practice with a leading national law firm, working in the Central Belt, and including time on secondment at a major oil company, big four accountant and in Mumbai, India carrying out contract review work. The focus of David's practice was advising on construction and engineering disputes across the energy, infrastructure and leisure sectors.

As well as being a qualified solicitor, David has a Masters by Research from the University of Manchester.

Ken is a partner with Brodies LLP in their Aberdeen office. He is one of Aberdeen's most respected business disputes lawyers with over 17 years' experience in Aberdeen of advising clients and representing their interests in all types of commercial litigation.

He has a remarkable depth of expertise in dealing with property, commercial, and contractual disputes with a particular focus on both the oil & gas and the property development sectors.

Ken's approach is to seek effective ways to avoid or settle conflicts efficiently and is a keep proponent of mediation in addition to court or arbitration proceedings.

Robert is a Senior Associate at Stronachs LLP, based in Aberdeen. He advises a broad range of clients on commercial dispute matters from preliminary consultative advice through to representation in formal court or ADR procedure. Robert has experience in handling both high value and complex disputes, domestically and internationally.

Robert has advised on litigation in the Scottish Court of Session and Sheriff Court, English High Court and County Court and various ADR procedures including arbitration, adjudication and mediation.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and is qualified to practice as a solicitor in Scotland, England and Wales.
