This assessment programme provides candidates with a fast-track route to Fellowship.
Fellowship is a mark of excellence for arbitrators from which, having gained relevant experience, an arbitrator may progress to become a Chartered Arbitrator.
This fast-track route is designed for busy and experienced legally qualified professionals who have a law qualification and substantial knowledge of arbitration.
The programme has been devised to take into account, knowledge and experience gained through academic and practical means.
The Programme is not a training course. It is an intense oral and written assessment of your knowledge of the law of arbitration.
The assessment programme is delivered over 2 days, and consists of written exercises and a series of workshops to assess knowledge, ability and drafting.
On successful completion of the assessment programme, candidates will be required to complete the Module 4 Arbitration (Award Writing) course and a Peer Interview to be eligible to apply for Fellowship with CIArb.
