Modules 1 & 2 (Arbitration) are the Pathway programmes for Associates who wish to upgrade to Member.
CIArb's Member grade reflects a high level of achievement and experience in the law and practice of private dispute resolution and allows you to place the letters MCIArb after your name.
In order to qualify to transfer from Associate to Member in the Arbitration Pathway, you must pass Module 1: Law of Obligations and Civil Evidence, and Module 2: The Law of Arbitration. Details of both of these Modules are below.
If you are not yet an Associate (ACIArb) you may enrol for and commence Modules 1 and 2 but will only become eligible to apply to upgrade to Member after you have completed and passed an Associate Level Entrance Course in Arbitration.
The three courses may be completed in any order.
Module 1: Law of Obligations and Civil Evidence
Assessment is by three assignments and two examinations. All tutorials and examinations are held in Dubai.
The course is run once a year commencing in December/January.
