New recruits for YMG Global Steering Committee

The Global Steering Committee of CIArb’s Young Members Group (YMG) has been bolstered by the appointment of five new highly experienced members from France, Geneva, Hong Kong, Ireland and South Korea, reflecting the cultural and gender diversity of YMG’s membership. 

Their appointments will add fresh momentum to the YMG objective of promoting and representing the interests of young CIArb members worldwide.

Rahul Donde   

Rahul Donde is a Senior Associate at Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, Geneva where he specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration. He acts as counsel, secretary and assistant of the arbitral tribunal in international arbitration proceedings under both ad hoc and institutional arbitration rules in a variety of sectors including utilities, natural resources and joint venture agreements.



Yvonne Czajkowski

Yvonne Czajkowski is a qualified solicitor in Ireland, England and Wales, an arbitrator, mediator and Chair of the CIArb Irish Branch Young Members Group. She is an ICSA part-qualified Chartered Secretary with over ten years legal experience across general practice, in-house, company secretarial, corporate, funds, industrial relations, civil and criminal environments. She is currently Legal Counsel for Trinity College Dublin specialising in commercial contracts and intellectual property.


Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou   

Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou is a counsel at Lazareff Le Bars in Paris, registered with the bar in Paris and Athens. For the past ten years, she has been representing clients in arbitration proceedings, both commercial and investment, and in arbitration-related litigation.



Harald Sippel


Harald Sippel is a foreign attorney with the Korean law firm Yulchon LLC, where he works as counsel and arbitrator in international arbitral proceedings. Harald is based in Seoul and has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 2012.


Bryan Fok    

Bryan Fok is an associate in the international arbitration practice of Herbert Smith Freehills' Hong Kong office, having previously worked in the firm's Beijing and London offices. He has experience of acting in arbitrations under all of the main institutional rules and across a range of industry sectors, with particular experience in the energy and finance sectors as well as joint venture disputes. He is a MCIArb and is currently serving as Honorary Secretary of the CIArb East Asia Branch Young Members Group.
