Time to Think: Understanding Dispute Management

Scientists are rarely unanimous about anything. One thing they seem to agree upon is that, in all research, it is the question you ask that matters. The question I have asked myself is: 'How can we understand dispute management better and use that understanding in our work?'

The Roebuck Lecture, has been named after Professor Derek Roebuck MCIArb, to celebrate the very significant contribution that he has made to the Institute over the years, principally as Editor of Arbitration - The International Journal of Arbitration, Mediation and Dispute Management. We are privileged that Derek Roebuck has agreed to give the inaugural lecture.

The Institute gratefully acknowledges the assistance of XXIV Old Buildings in sponsoring the lecture, drinks and refreshments.
