Practical Arbitration Training

Course Details

This event is one of the requirements of the Assessment to Fellowship Programme . It concentrates on the "Management of the Arbitration" from the initial enquiry before appointment through the interlocutory stages to managing the hearing.

The major feature of the training is the use of tutorials in which small groups of delegates consider case studies dealing with various situations, which may be encountered during an arbitration under the guidance of experienced practicing arbitrators.

A folder of documentation will be sent to you in advance. It is important that you are familiar with the documentation to gain maximum benefit from the 2 days.

The number of places will be limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Who Should Attend

You are a Chartered Arbitrator and wish to attend "refresher" training.

You have achieved Fellowship of The Chartered Institute under the previous educational system and intend to apply for Chartered Arbitrator status; or

You are qualifying for Fellow under the new Bye Laws.
