MHRA Medical Devices Scheme

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is an Executive Agency of the Department of Health in the UK and is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work and are acceptably safe.

CIArb has been appointed as the dispute resolution service relating to certain enforcement and regulatory notices issued by MHRA on medical devices only.

If you wish to appeal against any of the following medical device notices then you should refer to the relative guidance notes.

Payment for the appeals process is the responsibility of the appellant. This includes a £750 standard CIArb charge (sourcing and appointment of suitable independent assessor(s)) and the individual fees charged by the assessor(s).
