Approved Faculty List
The Approved Faculty List (AFL) provides formal recognition to members wishing to participate in CIArb courses. A faculty member works with CIArb in accordance with the CIArb Faculty Regulations to deliver the modules and associated assessments. A faculty member may take on the role of a tutor, examiner, moderator, course director and/or assessor. A member seeking to be involved in CIArb training courses must go through stringent quality assurance processes to be approved and be entered onto an Approved Faculty List (AFL) for a specific role and module.
Applicants will be approved as a faculty member for a specific role on a specific module for a period of 3 years. Applicants may apply for more than one role and in more than one module.
Approval is based on two categories:
- Fully approved - permits the faculty member to take on the role a tutor, examiner, moderator, course director and/or assessor.
- Provisionally approved - permits the faculty member to participate in a role whilst being supported by a fully approved faculty member.
Applications are welcome at any point in the year from members. Application forms can be obtained online at www.ciarb.org. To obtain a paper based version of the application form, contact the CIArb Education Team.
Please refer to the Faculty Regulations for further information on the Approved Faculty List.
