Module 2 - Mediation Accreditation Assessment (Mediation)
ASSESSMENT DATES (attendance required) - 23 and 24 March 2010
This assessment programme builds upon the Module 1 Commercial Mediation Training course. It is aimed at candidates who wish to become a CIArb Member and an Accredited Commercial Mediator.
The assessment programme is delivered over 2 days, and consists of a series of assessed role-play sessions. The three categories of assessment are People skills, Process skills and Management of the mediation. To pass, candidates must be competent in People Skills in both role plays and in Process Skills and Management Skills at least once in either of their role plays.
The assessment is carried out by a separate and completely independent Panel of Assessors who determine the level of skill and competence achieved on completion.
On successful completion of the assessment programme, candidates will become CIArb Accredited Mediators and be eligible to apply to be a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
