Recognised Course Provider Scheme
The CIArb Recognised Course Provider Scheme (RCP) provides formal recognition to institutions offering modules or qualifications in dispute resolution. It awards a specific level of exemption to candidates who complete an educational programme with the institution so that candidates can become CIArb members.
The 'institution' is an educational establishment offering modules or qualifications in dispute resolution. These educational institutions are known as 'CIArb Recognised Course Providers'.
The scheme is open to any institution offering programmes relevant to the CIArb Pathways programme. Applications are welcome at any point in the year from institutions. All institutions will be required to submit an assessment fee to CIArb. Candidates will not be required to pay any fees for the benefits they receive.
CIArb has defined a multi-factor framework for reviewing and assessing applications from institutions for Recognised Course Provider status. Institutions will be expected to complete a checklist and provide documentation to support each area. Institutions that can demonstrate that they meet CIArb standards will receive 'Recognised Course Provider' status for 3 years and gain access to a range of benefits.
Please refer to the Recognised Course Provider Handbook for further information on the scheme and application details.
