Individuals and corporates
We are currently looking into developing an affiliateship scheme, both for individuals and corporate organisations, with an interest in private dispute resolution.
If this is of interest to you or your firm or company, please keep an eye on this webpage for news of developments.
In the meantime, you may wish to:
- attend one of our Introductory training courses, which will qualify you to apply for Associate (ACIArb) membership grade;
- subscribe to our academic journal Arbitration.
Retired members of the Bar and Bench
For 2010 we are offering a time-limited, "one-off" CIArb Affiliateship for retired members of the Bar and Bench, on the following terms:
- 50 per cent discount on current annual Affiliate fee i.e. £170 discounted to £85 (irrespective of joining date up to and including December 2010)
- Waiver of the standard 2010 application/entry fee of £70
- CIArb Affiliateship valid until 31 December 2010
- Access to benefits with the exception of voting rights at AGM or in elections
- To join CIArb as a full member (at Associate, Member or Fellow grade as applicable) from 1 January 2011
- Access to the CIArb Professional Indemnity insurance scheme (as a full member or Affiliate in 2010, and as a full member in 2011 onwards)

supplying the following information:
- CIArb Affiliate reference number
- Annual fee income derived from adjudication, mediation and arbitration activities
- Home country
- Limit of indemnity required £250,000/£500,000/£1,000,000
An indication of premium can then be provided subject to completion and acceptance of a concise proposal form.
