Professional indemnity Insurance Scheme
In response to members needs, we undertook a survey in December 2008 on what our membership might want from Professional Indemnity insurance.
Working with a Lloyd's of London broker (Lothbury UK) and a multinational insurance company (QBE) we looked at the feasibility of providing Institute members with preferential Professional Indemnity insurance rates globally.
In February 2009 we were pleased to launch the CIArb PI insurance scheme, where members of the Institute - whether they are arbitrators, mediators or adjudicators - can access preferential rates of insurance cover from annual premium rates as low as £250 (plus local tax as applicable).
Based on a simple system of domicile#, annual fees and limit required, a quote can be provided very quickly, and cover can be arranged upon a simple proposal form being submitted.
