How to pay
Joining and Renewals
We accept payment by direct debit (UK-based members only) which is taken only once a year on the renewal date (1 January), by cheque, credit or debit card, bank transfer; account details available on request, or in person by visiting the Institute at: 12 Bloomsbury Square, London, WC1A 2LP.
For your protection we would like to remind you that you should not send credit card information by email. CIArb can accept no liability if you suffer loss as a result of supplying your details in this manner.
For existing members, subscription fees should be paid as soon after the renewal date (1 January) as possible. Fees can also be paid online by credit card, which is accessed through the members' area homepage. (login required).

Subscription fees should be made payable to 'The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators' and for bank transfers you must ensure that your full name and (for existing members) your membership number, is quoted on it. Please also inform us that you have paid in this way.
