Student membership
We are currently developing a student membership scheme, which is due to be introduced during 2009.
It is envisaged that membership will be open to all students with an interest in private dispute resolution (PDR), studying at universities throughout the world, for an affordable annual subscription fee.
Benefits of membership - proposed

- Access to the information & resources section (from professional guidelines to copies of law updates) on the members' area;
- Opportunity to buy books at member discounts;
- Ability to use general features on this website e.g. take part in specialist topic interest groups online, join in surveys/polls, receive PDR sector news etc;
- A future CIArb 'study support zone' on this website e.g. reading lists, copies of useful articles, exam papers;
- PDR student online networking and discussion forum;
- Quarterly CIArb newsmagazine The Resolver;
- Receive newsletter of local CIArb Branch and free entry to local events;
- Involvement by local CIArb Branch members in some lectures / host tutorials on real life PDR issues/cases/practical skills topics;
- Chance to take out subscription to CIArb's 'Arbitration' journal at reduced rate;
- Major discount off CIArb organised courses or central events;
- Inclusion in CIArb's regular member e-mailing list and postal mailing list for receipt of ad-hoc reports or pamphlets and event invitations.
