His record of accomplishment has been established as a highly regarded contract professional within the region, with him having the ability to meet the expectations of the most demanding clients on the most challenging projects. As a contracts manager at SEVEN’s Entertainment Complex, Etihad Rail Programme, Project lead for Sharjah Road & Transportation portfolio and Public Authority for Industry’s Seawater pumping station, Nawaf has broad exposure and in-depth knowledge of the Rail, Entertainment Complex, Infrastructure and Water industry to meet the requirements associated from new build to maintenance from tendering to closeout. Nawaf’s current position as a contracts manager involves managing the procurement, tendering, and management of both the consultants and contractors for the SAR 3.5 Billion flagship project of Public Investment Fund-owned Saudi Entertainment Ventures Entertainment Complex comprising Snow Park, Water Park, Cinema, Ski Slope and various attractions. His duties extend to managing the contract and commercial aspects of the package on behalf of the employer, including but not limited to procurement of main works contractor, specialist consultants, prequalification of vendors, claim evaluation reports, change management, client management, leading commercial meetings, drafting correspondence letters among other requirements. Under his leadership, the contract and commercial management of the project is being managed diligently per client requirements. In addition to being a chartered professional, Nawaf is a certified project and risk management professional from PMI, an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, ACIArb, UK, with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Kerala university, MSc in engineering management from Coventry University, UK and Master of Law (LLM) in construction Law
