With over than 40 years of experience in the technical and contractual control and supervision of construction of major projects in Italy, Africa, Middle East and East Europe, with special regard to projects ruled by FIDIC forms of contract or similar, Gianni Rigoni has acquired a great experience in managing contracts, from the day by day relationships between the Parties up to dispute resolution proceedings. The projects in which he was involved span over the entire field of civil engineering, namely: large dams/hydroelectric projects, highways, motorways and bridges, railways, tunnelling, water supply and sewerage systems projects, land reclamation, buildings.
After obtaining the master in Construction Law and Arbitration, he has added to the substantial experience gained in organising and managing the execution works of large infrastructural projects, the knowledge and understanding of the legal and contractual mechanisms underlying the agreements the parties enter into to regulate their contractual relations, providing consultancy services which span from the contract management activities to the dispute resolution proceedings acting both as technical expert and counsel assistant.
