A registered professional civil engineer, member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the American Society of Civil Engineers. A seasoned and a well experienced contract and commercial specialist consultant with over thirty five (35) years of proven work experiences with project owners, consultants and contractors in a number of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects; mixed development, buildings, hotels, resort and theme parks; and other landmark projects in Hong Kong, Macau, P.R. Mainland China, Middle East and Philippines.

Experiences and capabilities encompass almost all facets of project management and construction management and with exceptional undertakings and experiences on contracts and commercial management. Ranging from cost advice and cost planning; procurement and tendering; cost control and change management; contract formation and documentation; reviewing contract deliverables and documents including contract conditions, specifications and drawings; progress and financial reports; contract valuation and auditing; payment application and certification; variation valuation and re-rating; final account preparation and negotiation; early warnings, compensation events, Cost and EOT claims including supporting mediation and arbitration; liaising and discussing contract and commercial issues with project team and negotiation of issues with contractors and sub-contractors and with general understanding of most standard Contract forms including inter alia NEC and FIDIC.

Has in-depth knowledge on the technical aspect of civil engineering and building works, and familiarity with both conventional and modern construction methods and technologies. Types of projects that have been involved with include inter alia modern train station and railway; theme park and hotel-resort-casino development; airport terminal and associated civil engineering, building works and specialized facilities; road, expressway and interchanges; viaduct and bridge including cable-suspension and cable-stayed bridges; tunnel works; power plant station; housing and building project including ABWF and fit outs; site development project; marine structure - jetty and seawall; site formation, reclamation, foundation, piling, diaphragm wall and retaining wall; water reservoir, water and sewage treatment plants and pump station; drainage, sanitary and other similar types of piping system.
