Ed is currently the Managing Partner leading an Arbitration and Air Transport Consulting practice based in Atlanta, Georgia. He serves as an arbitrator/mediator on the following national panels:
- National Mediation Board
- American Arbitration Association
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority
He also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Management and Arbitration for Cornell University's Industrial Labor Relations (ILR) School, Ithaca, NY.
With over 40 years as a former senior airline and aerospace executive, Ed has experience in labor negotiation, arbitration and air transport operations. He has served as a labor arbitrator for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority and provided expert witness testimony for several law firms specializing in air transport litigation. His capabilities and insight are recognized by public companies, regulators, air carriers and industry peers and he is a sought-after speaker and panel member at a number of global arbitration, mediation and aerospace conferences.
His international experience was gained during two foreign senior management postings at Emirates Airlines in Dubai, UAE and Porter Airlines in Toronto, Canada.
At various times during his operational leadership at Northwest Airlines, Champion Air, Mesaba Airlines and Island Air, Ed either worked with or led the labor relations and negotiation teams for both management and union labor groups.
Ed's wide range of operational, government/industry consulting and senior leadership capabilities provides his clients with a seasoned arbitrator and internationally experienced air transport consultant able to assist in a wide variety of global venues.
