Nigeria Branch hold workshop on conflicts of interest

The Nigeria Branch held a Workshop Series on 21 February, 2017. The topic for discussion was titled 'Arbitrator’s Conflict of Interest: The Need for Greater Transparency and the Adoption of Uniform Standards of Disclosure'.  

This took place at the Branch Secretariat in Lagos .

The speaker was Mr Babajide Ogundipe, FCIArb and a past Chairman of the Branch

The Workshop series is an initiative of the Branch to provide a continuous learning platform for its members at no cost and to non members at a token charge.

The event was sponsored by the Immediate Past Chairman of the Branch, Muhammad Dele Belgore, SAN, C.Arb. The event was well attended and interactive discussions took place in a space of two hours and the event rounded up with a networking brunch.

The Next Workshop series is scheduled for 27 July in Abuja, the Federal Capital territory of Nigeria.
