CIArb doubles its marketing force
CIArb News / 05 March 2009
CIArb is pleased to announce two new appointments to its marketing and communications team.
Kathryn Grant joins as the institute's PR and Communications Executive, and Carol Kerr is the new Marketing Campaigns Executive. These are two new roles for CIArb, which will help it promote non-court dispute resolution globally and expand its membership.
Strengthen reputation
Richard Rodger, Marketing and Communications Manager, said: "We are delighted to welcome Kathryn and Carol. As part of the marketing team, they will help strengthen the reputation of CIArb as a global centre of excellence for non-court dispute resolution."
Increase profile
One of Kathryn's key aims will be to increase the media exposure of CIArb. By communicating the expert knowledge that exists across the organisation, she will work to raise the profile of non-court dispute resolution globally. She joins from the Environment Agency in Bristol where she was Communications Officer for environmental law website NetRegs.
Kathryn said: "I am pleased to be joining CIArb as it develops its profile as a learned society and centre of professional excellence. I hope to use this knowledge and encourage all members to come forward and speak out about key professional issues."
Expand membership
Carol will be developing targeted campaigns to drive CIArb membership and increase participation in the CIArb's Pathways programme. Originally from South Africa, Carol has recently worked as Senior Marketing Executive at Reed Business Information and the Financial Services Authority in London. She is highly experienced in online marketing and campaign management.
Carol said: "I am very excited about this opportunity. I look forward to implementing effective marketing campaigns to expand the worldwide membership and strengthen the CIArb brand."
