Advice and perspectives on dispute resolution in Nigeria and forging a career in the field with Funmi Roberts FCIArb. Funmi served as Chairman of the National Committee on repealing and re-enacting Nigeria’s Arbitration and Mediation Act (the AMA), which gained assent on 26 May 2023. The AMA reforms Nigeria’s legislation on arbitration, and replaces conciliation with mediation provisions, thereby providing a legislative framework for Mediation in Nigeria.
