Education & training

Our efforts in this branch are to provide our members with first class education events at low cost.

We usually hold our events at a location equally convenient for members in the Manchester and Liverpool areas, at the DeVere Hotel at Daresbury near Warrington.

We hold yearly Adjudicator and Arbitrator Surgeries. You do not have to be an Adjudicator or Arbitrator to attend, simply to have an interest or curiosity of the subjects is sufficient. The format of the surgery is for the course leader to present a scenario (often from real events). Discussions are held and the distilled precis is then presented from each table. Finally, the "correct" solution is provided. Surgeries are an afternoon to early evening event.

The Mediation surgery is similar, but everyone discusses the topic (if they so wish).

We also have debates and seminars from leading practitioners in their field.
