This is an online event hosted jointly by CIArb’s Brazil Branch and Centro de Arbitraje de la Cámara de Comercio de Lima (CCL), taking place on 16 and 17 June 2021. The event takes place at 3pm Peru Time / 5pm Brazil Time, please check your local time zone.

The event will host expert panellists in their fields and will debate the challenges of international arbitration and CIArb’s role in developing this form of dispute resolution. The panellists have experience working in many jurisdictions including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Peru, Spain, UK, USA, and Uruguay.

Welcoming remarks will be delivered by Catherine Dixon (Director General of ClArb), Luis Bustamante Belaunde (Chair of the Consejo Superior de Arbitraje CCL, Peru) and Cesar Pereira FCIArb (Chair of ClArb’s Brazil Branch). The event will also be moderated by Andres Talavera MCIArb (Peru), Irene Zegarra-Ballon MCIArb (Peru), Eric Franco FCIArb (Peru) and Bettina Omizzolo (Secretary of the Arbitration Commission of OAB-SC, Brazil).
