CIArb's North West Branch invites you to attend their next upcoming event in June on dispute avoidance.
Dispute avoidance makes commercial common sense. Disputes take time, people and money to resolve. If they can be avoided in the first place, then all parties are presumably better off. Following the requirements of the contract will help to prevent disputes arising.
The session will be presented by Patrick Waterhouse. Patrick will explain the provisions of NEC4 contracts designed to avoid disputes including collaborative working, early warnings, and the use of the Dispute Avoidance Board.
