CIArb East Anglia Branch is pleased to be hosting the Hatfield Evening Meeting with the topic "Experts, a retrospective view of the future - Today is Tomorrow's Yesterday".
Speaker, Michael Cohen, is a Fellow of the CIArb and Chairman Emeritus of The Academy of Experts. He is deeply involved in the world of Dispute Resolution and of Discipline. Over 30 years ago he founded The British Academy of Experts as it was then called. He is Director of The ADR Centre London, a Qualified Mediator, Chartered Arbitrator as well as an Expert in Insurance and on matters pertaining to Experts.
He is Course Director for Academy Training and a regular course tutor. He is Editor of ‘The Expert & Dispute Resolver’.
Michael Cohen will give an update on the future of Experts. based on the following topics:
- Where are we today?
- How did we get here?
- Has the Ikarian Reefer finally sunk or been recovered?
- Waiting for the white smoke: Meeting – Discussions – Conference and now Conclave of Experts
- Convergence of Common into Civil philosophy
- 'Drowning in the hot tub'
