In July 2020, the CIArb Guidelines on Witness Conferencing received the GAR Award for Best Innovation in 2019. This recognition will be the backdrop for the CIArb Brazil Branch participation in the São Paulo Arbitration Week – SPAW 2020 initiative. Distinguished international guest speakers will discuss a wide variety of topics dealing with the examination of witnesses and experts, having the CIArb Guidelines as their starting point.
The program will also mark the first anniversary of CIArb's Brazil Branch. The Branch launch took place during SPAW 2019 with a seminar and drinks reception. CIArb's Brazil Branch will look forward to celebrating virtually this achievement with everyone.
