Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb)

Chartered status represents excellence in practice. Members with relevant experience can apply for chartered status during two application rounds in 2024.

To be eligible to apply for Chartered Arbitrator status, an applicant must:

  • Be an existing Ciarb Fellow
  • Have experience of completing a minimum of fifteen (15) difficult and complex cases as an arbitrator; and
  • Have a diverse range of experience as an arbitrator.

Chartered Arbitrator Guidance for Applicants Spring 2024

Applications for chartered status can be submitted in the Spring and Autumn. For the Spring 2024 application round the office will accept applications submitted between 1st April and 30th April.  Only those applications submitted during this period and by the deadline of 30th April, 17.00 GMT, along with full payment of the application fee, will be considered.  Applications submitted beyond the deadline or without payment will not be considered.
