Areas of Expertise:

• I have gained extensive experience in Commercial, Contracts/Procurement & Claims Management with circa 29 years working on a wide range of projects in Egypt and UAE, KSA, Kuwait namely in infrastructure/Rails, Residential/Hotels, High Rise Buildings and also Oil &Gas,…etc

• My experience covers a wide range of sectors and having spent almost 14 years working with various first class international contractors, 6 years with PM/CM, and over eight years with international developers, in addition to working with project/cost/contracts management international firms. I have all aspects of commercial, risk & contracts, procurement management capabilities, especially in dealing with FIDIC formats and also Cost Plus contracts.

• In addition of having a Strategic Planning skills, I am also having a hands-on approach which has given me all aspects of experience in Commercial/Contracts & Claims management and project management; including , tendering process for packages from USD 100 K up to USD 800 Million, procurement strategy & analysis; commercial management; cost/budgeting and value Engineering management; planning, liability reports; supplier/ contractors/ consultants selection, technical/commercial appraisal of alternative proposals; contract administration, cash flow projections, Variations preparation/evaluation, negotiation of claims/disputations resolutions, Risk management/analysis, settlement of disputes with alternative disputes resolutions such as conciliation. I’ve been handling claims, settlement /disputes resolutions of over One Billion US$ during the last few years only.

• Well versed in dealing with governmental authorities with a clear understanding to the requirements of such authorities to obtain all required approvals for Tendering, VOs, Payments
