Ali has more than 25 years of industry experience in multiple jurisdictions, and has been appointed on numerous complex construction disputes to provide expert evidence regarding project delays and disputed changes, as well as the cost issues arising from prolongation, disruption, and acceleration. His qualifications include an MBA and an LLM in construction law and arbitration, as well as a BSc and an MSc in mechanical engineering. Ali is a fellow at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and a member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
