Tony (FCIArb) is dual-qualified in England and Vientam with two decade-experience of practice in financing projects and energy industry. In 2009, he founded a boutique practice, EPLegal, with focus on energy, project financing and cross-border disputes. He is a Legal500 ranked lawyer, a Benchmark-Litigation’s dispute resolution star and a to-go-counsel for international arbitration involving Vietnamese parties.

Tony frequently represents large corporate clients for disputes settled by arbitration. He is the first Vietnamese FCIArb, immediate past chairman of CIArb Vietnam, and a member of the VIAC’s Expert Advisory Council. In 2020, he co-founded Vietnam Institute for International Arbitration (VIArb), and holds the position of Managing Director until now.

A part from counsel practice, Tony is also paneled at VIAC, THAC, IDRRMI, BIAIC etc as an arbitrator.
