Raja Waqas Ahmed is a graduate engineer having international experience of construction contracts and claims for client and contractor. Waqas has worked with multinational construction companies on significant projects. Worked both for the consultant as well as the contractor on different assignments. For brief periods, he has served as a Senior Engineer (Claims & Contracts) for China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) at Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric project of about PKR 550 billion project cost and National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK). He is a part of Descon Engineering Limited since January 2019. With tremendous academic background, his master degree in Project Management further strengthens his professional capabilities in managing the complex projects. He has proven experience in Pre-tendering (PQ & Bid ), Post-tendering (IPCs, claims , variation settlement, contractual correspondences & advises). Cost control / rates analyses. Preparation, presentation & Settlement of Cost Claims / EOT Claims. He has hands-on experience of writing legal and contractual documents including all kinds of Contracts, Agreements and correspondences. He is seeking to leverage dedicated experience in a role where quality, efficiency, and growth are valued. He is able to offer services remotely, while adhering to relevant country business hours.
