Waqar Ahmed, Construction Contracts and Claims Professional, having post graduate degree in Water Resources Management. He has a decade of experience in the construction industry and water resources development projects. He has comprehensive experience of construction contracts, construction varied works administration, claims management (EoT and Cost), project planning, project monitoring and evaluation.
He has rendered his services in government organizations and multinational corporations. He worked in WWF-UNDP Project, Department of Irrigation and Small Dams, China Gezhouba (water and power) Group Corporation and Siyahkalem Engineering Construction Industry and Trade Co Ltd. He worked for the Employer, public policymakers and the Contractor on different projects. Mr. Waqar has been involved mostly in construction and public sector development projects which includes; Hydroelectric, Tunnels, Water Control Structures, Water Storage Tanks, Irrigation Channels, Check Dams, Multi-storeis Buildings and Residential Colonies.
His working ambit includes, Contracts Administration (FIDICs & others), Project Proposal, Pre and Post Tendering Process, Drafting Lease and Subcontract Agreements, Varied Works Administration, Construction Claims preparation and substantiation, Contractual correspondences with projects stakeholders, Field Monitoring, Progress Reports, project handing and taking over matters and IPCs.
Mr. Waqar is also rendering his services as a freelancer for Alternative Dispute Resolution and drafting legally bound contracts i.e. services agreement, employment contracts, back to back agreement, partnership agreements, lease agreements other legal/contractual documents.
