Dr Nihal Ananda Perera, Ph.D., LL. M., M.Sc., FRICS, FAIQS, FCIArb., PSP is a Forensic Claims Consultant and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with extensive international experience of 30+ years, mainly in Southern Africa and the Middle East.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
He is also a certified Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) of the US based AACE International (formerly the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering).
His PhD in Management at the University of Salford (UK) was in the domain of construction law and dispute management, with a doctoral research and thesis on ‘apportioning liabilities in construction delay claims’.
He is the principal author of several post-doctoral conference and journal papers on construction delay claims
