Apply to become a YMG Global Steering Committee Member

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ Young Members Group (YMG) plans, organises and promotes activities targeted at young practitioners across the globe.

The YMG is seeking to appoint nine new members to its Global Steering Committee, an international group of dispute resolution practitioners below the age of 40.

New members will serve for a period of three years from their appointment in January 2022.

The Committee places a high value on diversity, including gender, social/economic, racial and regional diversity. View the current YMG Global Steering Committee members here.

CIArb members interested in joining the Committee are invited to send a CV and motivation letter to ymgchair@ciarb.org by 15 November 2021. CVs should be limited to two pages and motivation letters to one page.

Significant progress on Advisory Centre for International Investment Law at UNCITRAL

In 2017, UNCITRAL Working Group III (WGIII) was launched and was tasked with working on procedural reform of the investor state dispute settlement (ISDS) system. From 1-5 April 2024, Ciarb participated in the 48th session of WGIII in its capacity as an observer delegate.
