The Bite- Size Seminars Series are seminars organised by the YMG for a small group of its members where a seasoned Arbitrator and a YMG Member discuss relevant Arbitration topics.
The enabling law in Nigeria, the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, is being amended and is currently before the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
On 10 May 2018, Mrs Funmi Roberts FCIArb, the Chairperson of the “Committee for the Reform of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1988" and Mr Isaiah Bozimo FCIArb, a member of the Committee and a YMG Member, took YMG members through the deficiencies of the current law and how the proposed amendments could potentially reform the practice of Arbitration in Nigeria.

Significant progress on Advisory Centre for International Investment Law at UNCITRALIn 2017, UNCITRAL Working Group III (WGIII) was launched and was tasked with working on procedural reform of the investor state dispute settlement (ISDS) system. From 1-5 April 2024, Ciarb participated in the 48th session of WGIII in its capacity as an observer delegate.
