CIArb UAE Branch establishes Mediation Steering Committee

CIArb UAE Branch celebrates the establishment of a Mediation Steering Committee to develop CIArb's mediation offering in the UAE, a full training pathway program for mediators, and a panel of CIArb accredited and approved mediators to service the region.

The steering committee, comprising of Leonora Riesenburg FCIArb (Branch Chair), Iryna Akulenka FCIArb (Branch Vice Chair), Conrad Bromley FCIArb (Honorary Treasurer), Fatima Balfaqeeh MCIArb (Branch Committee Member) and Faris Shehabi FCIArb (Branch Committee Member), held their first working session to coincide with Anthony Abrahams' (CIArb Director General), visit on 17 September 2019.

This pioneering and enterprising step will serve to further understanding and the promulgation of international mediation in the region.
