On Friday 01 November 2019, the CIArb’s European Branch Young Members Group held their fourth “Happy Arbitration Hours” in Istanbul, Turkey.

On Wednesday 13 November 2019, CIArb’s London Branch held a joint seminar with the London Maritime Arbitrators Association on 'Non-lawyer Arbitrators: Expertise and Perspectives'.

CIArb is proud to offer a two day course which will take place on the 6-7 December 2019, at the H Hotel in Dubai, UAE.

The 45th Alexander Lecture, which was scheduled to be delivered by The Honourable Ms Teresa Cheng GBS SC JP on Thursday 14 November 2019, did not take place.

This evening, the Honourable Ms. Teresa Cheng GBS SC JP Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong SAR was invited as the first woman and past President to deliver the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ prestigious Alexander Lecture at CIArb’s building in London.

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Singapore Branch was delighted to receive a delegation from the Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC).
