Ahmad Al Ansari is the Chairman of the CIArb Qatar Branch. Ahmad started in 1984 at Qatar fertilizer Company (QAFCO) for almost 13 years from a Mechanical Technician to Mechanical Project Engineer. In 1997 he joined the Water Projects Department at Ministry of Electricity & Water which he became the Head of the Department in 1999.

In 2001, Ahmad moved to Qatar National Olympic Committee as the Programme Leader responsible for planning and delivery of some 32 prestigious sport facilities and projects for Doha 2006 Asian Games. In 2006 he was the Managing Director of Lagoon Qatar, providing multi-disciplinary engineering and construction services, and in 2013 he joined Public Works Authority and now he is in charge of the President Technical Office.

Ahmad has a University Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master Degree in Project Management in Construction, a Master of Laws in Construction Law & Arbitration, and he is a Chartered Construction Manager as well as Fellow and Chartered Member of various International Professional Institutions.

Dr. Muna Al-Marzouqi earned her LL.B in Law with Order of Excellence from Qatar University. She holds an LL.M from University of California Berkeley in U.S.A. and an S.J.D from Tulane University in U.S.A. in the field of maritime law. Dr. Muna is an assistant professor at Qatar University College of Law since 2011, where she teaches maritime law and commercial law. Between 2018-2020 she was the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate studies at the College.

Since 2020, she has been appointed as an Associate Vice President for Academic Planning & Quality Assurance at Qatar University. She graduated from Qatar Leadership Center in 2018. She is also a member Anti-doping Appeal Panel (Qatar Anti-doping committee) and a licensed lawyer before the Qatari Courts and a judge in the Regulatory Tribunal of Qatar Financial Center.

She has been awarded the Excellence in Education Gold Medal from Qatar University in 2011 and Excellence in Teaching Award from Qatar University College of law in 2013. In 2017, she won the Georgetown University Fellowship Award. She received the Education Excellence Award (doctorate degree category) in 2018 from the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. In the same year, she has been awarded the Excellence in Research Award from Qatar University College of Law.

Mr. Nader M. Ibrahim is an Egyptian academic, who works as Professor of Commercial Law, for the College of Law, since 2017. Mr. Ibrahim read law at the Law School of Alexandria University (1989), where he received his graduate studies (1991-1992), including his PhD in International Commercial Law (1998); this is in addition to his LLM in International Business Law from the Sorbonne University Program at the Cairo University in 1994. Mr. Ibrahim started his academic career in 1995 at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST&MT), Alexandria, Egypt, where he taught Commercial & Maritime Laws, International Business Law, and Arbitration Law. At his home institution, Mr. Ibrahim occupied different administrative posts, leading to that of a Dean (2013- 2016). Mr. Nader Ibrahim has a long history of legal consultations with the Egyptian government, the Arab League, the United Nations and the African Union, and he is a practicing arbitrator at many international arbitration centers (13 Arbitration Cases). Mr. Nader Ibrahim is an institutional arbitrator to: CRCICA, QICCA and Abu Dhabi Center for Mediation and Commercial Arbitration. Mr Ibrahim’s research focuses on the commercial, maritime and Arbitration laws.

Saad Hegazy is a Delay and Quantum Testified Expert Witness, Member of the Academy of Experts with over 20 appointments, Expert Determinator, Arbitrator and Mediator based in Doha with more than 17 years’ experience in Delay Analysis, Construction Contracts, Quantity Surveying, Claims, and Disputes Resolution in various industries and project types. Saad is the President of AACE Qatar Branch, and Board Member of CIArb & QFC Qatar Branch, previous ICC YAF MENA Regional Representative, head of Egyptian Delegation to ISO standard Committees for Project and Portfolio Management (ISO21500) since 2009, and winner of IPMA Young Project Manager Excellence Prize 2010.

Saad is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), Expert Witness and Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Arbitrator listed at QICCA, SCCA, CIArb, and W&W roasters.
