Prepared, filed, and prosecuted more than 1500 United States and foreign patent applications. Worked extensively in medical devices, biotechnology, chemistry, automotive products, defense, and many other areas of technology.

Experience with intellectual property litigation.

Extensive trademark experience. Experience with filing, prosecuting, and litigating trademark matters. Handled trademark opposition proceedings and other contested proceedings.

Have filed and prosecuted patents and trademarks in many countries across the globe. Have handled hundreds of patent application matters in Europe, China, Japan, Australia, and many other countries.

Have recently published more than 15 thought leadership articles on regulation, patent disputes, and intellectual property law.

Experience as in-house corporate counsel for a large energy company. Experience with corporate law and commercial litigation.

Technical background. B.S. degree in chemistry. Graduate level work in biochemistry and medical devices. Author of published scientific articles regarding biochemistry and medical devices.

Trained mediator. Completed 48 hour mediation course entitled "Mediating the Litigated Case" at Pepperdine Caruso Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Member of American Arbitration Association commercial mediation and arbitration panels.
