Dave is the founding member of Abacus Cost Consultants (Pty) Ltd and is currently a Director of this organization.
He is a qualified Quantity Surveyor having a National Higher
Diploma from the University of Johannesburg, and is a corporate member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors as well as the Royal Institute of Construction Surveyors.
He is also a fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern
Africa), a fellow of the Botswana Institute of Arbitrators, a
member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of
the AFSA General Commercial Panel and a member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering.
He has over 35 years’ experience in the measurement and
valuation of work for engineering, mining and construction
contracts.
He also have extensive experience in the preparation,
quantification and adjudication of contractual claims.
He has been appointed to act as arbitrator, adjudicator, mediator and expert in various disputes.
