I'm a Mexican lawyer, with more than nine years of experience on dispute resolution, with special focus on international arbitration, commercial litigation, and administrative litigation. I have represented and advised companies on quite different types of disputes, above all in the consumer goods, construction and energy and natural resources industries. I have participated in various stages of commercial, administrative, and constitutional lawsuits. Moreover, throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to get involved as a counsel in various stages of complex arbitration proceedings (including emergency arbitrations), administered by the ICC, LCIA, ICSID and CAM, mostly in infrastructure, energy, investor-state and commercial matters. I have performed several tasks including briefing arguments, preparing evidence, communicating with, and appearing before Arbitral Tribunals, cross-examining witnesses in hearings, as well as participating in judicial enforcement and/or setting aside arbitral awards.
