I am a PhD student in Law at Swansea University's Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, where I am pursuing research in the areas of international investment law and international intellectual property law. Additionally, as of April 2023, I am also a visiting student at Edinburgh University. In terms of my academic background, I have completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with distinction. Furthermore, I am a guest lecturer at a university in Azerbaijan. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have co-founded the De Jure law firm and established the De Jure legal portal (http://dejure.az). I bring with me a wealth of legal experience, having worked for around 15 years in various commercial structures as a lawyer and legal/contract manager in Azerbaijan. During this time, I gained experience in court representation and developed a deep understanding of the practical application of legal principles. I am proud to have been awarded a full scholarship for my PhD studies through the highly competitive State Program of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which has allowed me to dedicate my time to pursuing ground-breaking research.
