Shane is an international experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor and construction claims and dispute resolution professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry in Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, United Kingdom, and Ireland.

He is a Member of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland. He holds a Master’s degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from Kings College, London, and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Shane has successfully completed the ‘Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence’, which is the only

Shane has significant experience of formulating and advising contractors on claim strategies, and preparing and defending extension of time, prolongation and disruption claims on several strategic infrastructure projects across a range of sectors with project values up to $2.6 billion dollars.

Shane has also been engaged as an expert Claims Advisor and has participated in formal proceedings in the preparation of quantum reports. His experience also includes carrying out pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities, and contract management duties.

Shane has been appointed by several leading national and international contractors, including in the Middle East region, and has a proven and extensive track record of undertaking commercial, contractual and claims management on high-value projects.
