Paul is an executive level strategic advisor in the construction and consultancy sector, a specialist in contracts, construction production and claims, with a wealth of experience across a range of sectors and industries.
Impactful and valued professional with expertise in strategic advisory, dispute avoidance and resolution, engineering, construction and consulting activities, project management, program management, risk management and procurement. Proven skills in written/verbal communications, reporting, risk management, and problem resolution. Well-versed in contract monitoring, agreements, contract interpretation, accuracy, and completeness.
He leads projects from pre-concept, through design and procurement to construction completion. He is a qualified engineer, has a master’s degree in Law and has completed formal Expert Witness training enabling him to provide expert witness support to litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Paul has extensive experience as client, client’s representative and development and projects leader, augmented by a projects management background in the British military, financial services and IT industries.
He has worked with many forms of contract including FIDIC, NEC, JCT, JBCC and bespoke forms of contract. There is not an aspect of commercial and contract arrangements and post-contract claims and disputes in all forms of construction that he is not capable of managing or have experience in.
Paul is a former Royal Air Force Officer engaged in flying duties and has Diplomatic experience.
