Dedek is a graduate from Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia and was the Executive Director of The Scientific Research Institute Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia.

Dedek has also participated in some international courses essentially Mediation and Conflict Resolution Utrecht Summer School The Netherlands and Thompson Rivers University Canada Overseas Program (Best Student).

Further, Dedek has won several awards in national and international competitions. For instance, the 1st Winner & Best Prosecutor of Rudy Satrio IV Award and the 1st Winner of Abdul Kahar Mudzakir VI Award. Dedek was also one of the Judges in the International Court of Justice Council in The European International Model United Nation, The Netherlands.

Prior joining one of the dynamic and striving firm in Indonesia, for a certain period, Dedek was assisting the Consular Affairs, the Embassy of Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. After, Dedek handles Arbitration, E-Commerce, General Corporate and Manpower in Harvardy, Marieta & Mauren Attorneys At Law.

Pursuant to his career, Dedek has advised and represented clients in various matters. An example of Dedek’s representations was as a council in an intricate dispute settled through arbitration, representing Indonesian based company against a French based company under EPC contract, with total claims in the amount of USD41.3 million.

Due to Dedek's contributions in this case, Dedek was chosen as the only lawyer from the firm who’s got an award to be funded by the firm to take an Arbitration Course held by Chartered Institute of Arbitrators based in London, United Kingdom to became and titled as an Associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb). Additionally, Dedek was also selected to be one of the lawyers to represent the firm to attend Indonesian Development Forum in Inclusive Digital Economy Accelerator as a container for interaction between activist, startups, investors and associations to support the development of startups businesses from all regions in Indonesia.

Now, Dedek served as the Director of PT Raja Indo Wiyata, a company focusing in the Music Industry. Currently, the company itself has acquired one prominent local recording label called Minang Record which has produced and published more than 2000 traditional, melayunese and Indonesian songs across almost all well-known digital platforms and also established a young and striving recording label called Further Music Asia.
